The portable streaming device – Roku is getting famous these days. Jailbreak Roku 2019 is the famous topic among Roku users
But the questions most of the Roku users have are;
IPVanish is one of the best VPNs we can have to a fast connection anywhere in the world. This has a huge network of over 1,000 servers in 60 different countries. So the speed of the connection is guaranteed.
Then IPVanish is fast enough to support HD and 4K streams and does not block P2P or torrent traffic, allowing you to access all of Kodi’s add-ons and content without any restrictions.
Visit upper link and install the VPN as guided.
Now let’s move to the interesting part.
Screen mirroring can be done to Roku boxes and streaming sticks. No network connection is required for this process. This method uses a secondary device (iDevice, Android Device, Windows, Mac ) and mirror Kodi straight to Roku.
But before all these make sure you have your VPN.
Before you can mirror, you’ll need to turn on screen mirroring. Follow below steps to turn on screen-mirroring.
This step is essential for all users.
Press the home button from your Roku to access the main menu.
Go to Settings –> System
Choose Screen Mirroring from the menu.
Next to Screen mirroring mode, select either Prompt or Always Allow.
That’s it! Return to your Roku home screen.
Below mentioned are the step guide for iOS users and Android users.
Step 2: Make sure your Roku and TV are turned on.
Step3: Now install Kodi from here.
Step 4: Download the official Roku app for iOS.
Step 5: Install the app on your iPhone or iPad and launch it.
Step 6: Scroll to the Play on Roku section of your Roku app.
Step 7: Now open Kodi and choose a movie to start streaming on your TV.
Step 2: Install Kodi from Google Play store.
Step 3: Now enable screen mirroring on your Android device.
On your Android device;
Step 4: Now let’s have Kodi in Roku.
Screen Casting is another way to break the restriction in Roku OS. Either iOs or Android devive can be used to this method. But the thing is, KODI, Mobdro, and many others are not Cast-compatible.
Apps compatible with casting such as Netflix and YouTube will display the Cast Logo near the top of your smartphone app screen.
Casted content is displayed without phone menu bars or status icons.
The advantageous thing in this method is, you can do anything else on your phone at the same time such as making a phone call, or searching etc. You can even turn your phone off and the casted content will still play until you select another app, channel, or setting on your Roku.
This is another way of Roku Jailbreak 2019. This method is also for both iOS and Android and is available in the Roku Mobile App.
Similar to Screen Mirroring and Screen Casting, this feature allows you to display photos and video, and send music stored on your smartphone to a Roku streaming stick or box.
Again, as Casting, this can’t be used with apps such as Netflix, YouTube, or KODI.
Play On Roku is compatible with below file formats:
Step 1: Install Roku app on your mobile (iOS / Android)
Step 2: Open the app.
Step 3: Launch Play On Roku by tapping the Photos+ icon which is located on the navigation bar at the bottom of the Roku mobile app.
Step 4: Select Music, Photos, or Videos to choose what you want to share from your mobile device. When prompted, grant access to your media library.
Step 5: Select the photos, videos or music you want to share with your Roku device.
The 4th method of alternative Roku jailbreak 2019 is this.
You can use your smartphone along with Roku streaming sticks, boxes to play content stored on a PC or media server through your home network.
First, install Roku media player app on your Roku stick / box.
