iOS 14.2 Beta 1 Released

Apple released the first beta of iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2 soon after releasing iOS 14. This latest beta released for the developers.
Parallel to releasing iOS 14.2 beta 1 and iPadOS 14.2 beta 1 Apple also released tvOS 14.2, watchOS 7.1 betas to developers.

Let’s have a look what’s new on iOS 14.2 beta 1.

With this latest release Apple mainly focuses on adding Shazam music recognition feature in Control Center.

To add the new Shazam music recognition toggle to Control Center, first make sure you’re running the developer beta of iOS 14.2, which is rolling out today. Then, open the Settings app, choose “Control Center,” then look for Shazam beneath the “More Controls” header. You can then add the Shazam toggle and rearrange it as you see fit.

Also Apple has added a new feature for the media playback section in Control Center in iOS 14.2 beta. When you are listening to a song and it ends the Control Center shows more suggestions for you.

Apple also introduced a people detection option with the iOS 14.2 beta 1. You can have this option in the Magnifier app.
It will show the distance between you and the other people using augmented reality from Magnifier app.
